Research team

On this website you will find progress made in the framework of the research grant PGC2018-095307-B-I00, Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, Spain, entitled “Transport in multispecies stellarator plasmas: theory, simulation and experimental validation”. This project addresses some of the most critical challenges, with a focus on transport processes that lead to particle and energy losses, and with the goal of contributing to the design of future stellarator reactors.

The research team consists of the following members:

From the Laboratorio Nacional de Fusión, CIEMAT:

J. Arturo Alonso,
Iván Calvo (Principal Investigator),
José Manuel García-Regaña,
Antonio González,
Edilberto Sánchez,
José Luis Velasco (Principal Investigator).

From other institutions:

Michael Barnes and Felix I. Parra (University of Oxford, UK),
Albert Mollén (Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory)
Ralf Kleiber (Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik, Greifswald, Germany),
Shinsuke Satake (National Institute for Fusion Science, Toki, Japan)
